If you consider yourself a fan of the Taylor Sheridan universe of shows, 2026 should be a lot of fun.
The Yellowstone creator continues to be the mind and influence behind various other hits that bring in millions of viewers per episode. For today’s standards, that’s almost uncalled for, but Sheridan has evidently cracked the code. He’s got plenty of Yellowstone spinoffs on the way, and he’s already established other successful worlds within shows like Mayor of Kingstown and Landman.
Considering it’s hard for the viewer to keep up with everything that Taylor Sheridan has going on, I can’t imagine how Sheridan himself feels with all of the plates he has spinning. And nothing is slowing down for him in 2026. There are plenty of shows on the way this year from the mind of Taylor Sheridan, so why not take a look at all that fans can expect in the coming months – and before the calendar flips to 2027?
Confirmed In 2026
We’re now just a couple of weeks away from the Kayce Dutton-focused series, Marshals, airing on CBS. For fans that have been waiting for the Yellowstone story to continue, the new show starring Luke Grimes should provide fans with everything they want and more. Well, unless they were looking forward to seeing Kayce and Monica do life together… that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.
It doesn’t look like it’s going to be a happily-ever-after story for Luke Grimes’ character. Instead, it seems like Kayce Dutton is getting back to his violent ways because of a devastating loss that he’s suffered. The 13-episode season is set to debut on March 1… here’s the official trailer:
The Madison
Release Date: March 14, 2026
After years of waiting – and even wondering if it would ever happen – The Madison is coming to our television screens sooner rather than later. The show, which will star Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell as leads, is described to be some of Sheridan’s most intimate work, and will tell a story that explores grief and human connection. As far as plot is concerned, the series revolves around the titular character of Stacy Clyburn, a wealthy matriarch who upends her life in New York City to move her and her family to Montana following a plane crash that kills her husband and brother-in-law.
Oh, and it’s important to note that this series (which already has two seasons ready to go) is not considered a Yellowstone spinoff.
Release Date: 2026
Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are BACK! Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are set to reprise their roles in the spinoff that will most likely be closest to the flagship Yellowstone series. You might have heard that Dutton Ranch was originally supposed to air in late 2025. It was eventually pushed back to an “Early 2026” release, and there’s still no official word on when viewers will be able to see Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their roles and return to our television screens again.
Fortunately, one of the latest updates makes it seem as though things are moving along with the show, and all signs are pointing towards a Spring 2026 release.
Unconfirmed But Probable
Tulsa King (Season 4)
Probable Release Date: Fall 2026
The Sylvester Stallone-led show first premiered in 2022, and has the Rocky star playing a mafia man named Dwight “The General” Manfredi. After being released from prison after serving over two decades, he’s sent from New York to Tulsa, Oklahoma to set up shop… and drama and action ensues.
It’s as entertaining of a show as they come, and has plenty of firepower when it comes to the cast. The show’s third season wrapped up in November of last year, and production for Season 4 of Tulsa King actually got started around the same time. So a release this year seems likely. There’s no premiere date just yet, but an educated guess would lay out a Late Summer or Fall release in 2026.
Mayor Of Kingstown (Season 5)
Probably Release Date: Fall 2026
Mayor of Kingstown has officially been renewed for a fifth season, and that shouldn’t really come as a surprise. Jeremey Renner has done a stellar job playing Mike McLusky, and the cast additions for Season 4 really lifted Mayor of Kingstown to a whole other level. Edie Falco (The Sopranos), Lennie James (Fear The Walking Dead) and Laura Benanti (Younger) were all added to the show as series regulars for this latest season, and they did not disappoint.
The only disappointing thing is that Season 5 will be the final season of Mayor of Kingstown. That does come as a little bit of a shock, since the show’s creators had previously stated that they had a “seven season plan” for Mike McLusky’s story. But they’ll be wrapping up things up a couple seasons short of that, and in a few less episodes as well. The order for Season 5 is only eight episodes, whereas Seasons 1-4 came in at 10 episodes a piece.
Mayor of Kingstown was renewed for it’s final season just last month, and will begin filming in March. That could lead to a late 2026 premiere date, considering many Sheridan shows get started shooting in March or April and release in the later months of the year.
