NBC has announced that it will pick up the drama series Line of Fire for its 2026-2027 broadcast season. Jenna Bush Hager, who serves as an executive producer on the show, celebrated the milestone on social media.

It has not yet been announced whether Line of Fire will air in the fall or midseason. However, the news will soon be announced as networks typically reveal their schedules for the following season in mid-May.

The drama series stars Peter Krause, Hope Davis, Kat Cunning, Tommy O’Brien, Taylor Bloom, and Charlie Barnett. It has been written by Josh Safran, directed by Rebecca Thomas, and Ben Spector serves alongside Jenna as an executive producer. Line of Fire is produced by Universal Television.

Jenna took to her Instagram Stories to share that NBC had acquired the series for its new season lineup. “This brilliant team,” she penned alongside a photograph of the show’s credentials.

While Jenna is a regular anchor on the Fourth Hour of the Today Show, she has been expanding her portfolio in the television and film industries. The star made a cameo in The Devil Wears Prada 2, and early this year, it was revealed that she will be an executive producer on the pilot Protection, which has been greenlit by NBC’s Universal Television.
