Keir Starmer was treated too harshly as prime minister, that’s what 56.8% of people said in a poll about the now-resigned prime minister.
Previously, Keir Starmer announced he would be stepping down as prime minister of the UK following mounting pressure for some time on his position from within and outside of his own party.
However, despite his plummeting popularity in the lead up to his resignation, many feel that Starmer may have been treated too harshly.
In a poll of the JOE audience to which 732 people responded, 56.8% of people said that he had been treated too harshly.
This meant 43.2% of people said that he had been treated accordingly.
